Job Description / Information
Develop relationships with Residents and Fellows (R/F), oversee and track R/F activity, facilitate R/F transition from training into practice.
Partner with Sales leadership and local representatives to identify Neurosurgery and Orthopaedic R/F’s across the US and enter into R/F database
Manage and maintain R/F database/tracker
Analyze and disseminate R/F contact information and other data to the sales force on a regular basis
Identify and build strategic and long-term partnerships with R/Fs and Program Directors
Partner with Medical Education team to provide insight on topics and format of educational programs specific to R/F’s
Lead coordination and execution of R/F transition process to practice
Provide the salesforce with regular updates, best practices via weekly newsletter, quick Stryke, email and WebEx forums
Manage and maintain Job Board
Attend 3rd party meetings focused on R/F as appropriate
Enter regional and local R/F events into Tacklebox
Minimum 7 years of medical device sales and/or marketing experience
Should have a minimum of two years experience interacting with Residents/Fellows (R/Fs) in and out of the hospital setting
Keen knowledge of neuro resident and orthopedic spine fellowship programs regionally and/or nationally
Demonstrated ability to cultivate immediate and long-term relationships
Demonstrated leadership and management skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
High proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and remove obstacles to achieve deliverables
Ability to take initiative, learn new concepts and improve current processes.
Have knowledge of Med Ed programs, educational grants and other program resources
