Kforce Assistant Manager, Operations in New York, New York
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Assistant Manager, Ops - Global Transaction Banking in New York, New York (NY). Essential Functions:
Assist VP in all aspects of managing the GTB operations including providing coverage for VP in their absence
Actively participate and contribute to the management team of Operations, and provide support and backup to the other Management Members
Manage the day to day activity and workflow of the GTB Operations team, to ensure effective processing
Provide technical support and guidance to facilitate the execution of participation certificates for working capital facilities, manage the funding, recording and settlement of invoices, and ensure activities are in line with agreed protocols and procedures
Ensure exception processing for working capital transitions are escalated to GTB product team, Transaction Execution, Credit and Risk, Head of Operations, as appropriate
Provide input and review of Master Agreements prior to execution to ensure operational effectiveness
Provide support for high volume and sensitive transactions, to ensure activities are completed in a timely manner and in accordance with time lines as agreed within the Master Agreements
Ensure Sanctions activity related to working capital and Letter of Credit activities are in accordance with the policies of the bank
Ensure the timely distribution of invoices for Letter of Credit transactions, and collection of fees
Ensure utilization of facility availability where shortfalls are evident, and engage Credit and Relationship Managers to ensure compliance
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting Working Capital & Standby Letter of Credit Transactions
Experience with commercial banking system, ACBS preferred
Experience in an analytical position with strong attention to detail
Experience in risk management related to daily processing, escalation of issues and proposed resolution
Excellent organizational, analytical, time management skills
Strong leadership and collaborative skills
Strong project management skills covering numerous disciplines
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex challenges, ideas and solutions in a coherent and concise fashion in verbal and written format
Self-motivated, takes initiative and has the ability to delegate, effectively organize, multi-task and prioritize a wide array of initiatives, with an aptitude for innovation
Interpersonal and negotiation skills, freely develops networks, builds consensus, prioritizes effectively, and develops alliances across the bank
Proven ability to deliver against tight deadlines, with the best outcome for the client and the organization
Proven aptitude in innovation, agile working and project implementation
Demonstrated ability to use MS Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook)
