GMSP Technology is looking for a strong software engineer to join the team. The candidate will be responsible for owning the development and working with our Business partners to rollout technology solutions for risk projects (CPRT, CCAR, and FRTB). Responsibilities: The candidate will have solid experience developing applications for securitized products business. Exposure to any of the FICC areas is desired with preference to experience in the structured products business. The candidate will take a lead role in delivering projects and initiatives which enhance the business and improve the technology base Expert level experience in object-oriented programming and test-driven development. Expert level development capabilities in Java or C# or Python. A solid foundation in data structures, algorithms and software design. Good understanding of web technologies including web services. Expert level experience with any relational database. Formal education in Computer Science or related technical discipline. Bring a lot of passion to the work place, be able to stand and speak up for his ideas. Should be an independently thinker and be able to direct juniors. Ability to communicate effectively and ability to translate requests into deliverable products.
Responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications in the Global Markets environment. Software developers design, code, test, debug and document programs as well as support activities for the corporate systems architecture. Employees work closely with business partners in defining requirements for system applications. Employees are expected to have in-depth capital markets product knowledge, and manage a high level of risk. Employees typically have in-depth knowledge of development tools and languages. Is clearly recognized as a content expert by peers. Individual contributor role. Typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience.
