Supportive Management and Leadership
The RFP Evaluations Specialist works with SHI Management to review formal Bid Requests (Request for Proposal), determine viability for a quality response, and assign to the selected RFP Specialist. The successful candidate will maintain the active Request Queue, oversee the RFP Team Calendar, and gather additional information and documentation from various departments when needed to enhance the RFP Library and ensure a complete response that meets all deadlines and expectations. Their ongoing involvement with each Bid upon completion provides the results data for further analysis and improved best practices.
Onboarding through Outcome
Review submissions to insure Requestor has provided all necessary information and documentation and engage Sales Management when required
Determine if SHI can offer a complete and competitive response for requested solution and engage other/applicable departments for complex solutions for their accept/decline
Assign to selected RFP Specialist and launch Introductions via email notification and/or conference call including business and technical specifications
Assist with final review of Response ensuring completion
Gather Status/Results for Completed Responses for weekly, quarterly, annual analysis
Oversee the RFP Library : Standards, Best Responses and tagged areas for emerging and/or enhanced content
Work with SHI Management and applicable departments in the development of improved and targeted documentation for impactful responses
Completed 4 yr degree from accredited US college/university
Experience working in a professional office environment
Understanding and experience in managing a process from start to finish
time management and prioritization skills
Capable of determining priorities, goals and objectives of work functions assigned
Excellent with multi-tasking, follow-up and execution of assignments
Background in Customer Service and proven interpersonal skills
Customer Service work history of direct, professional interactions with customer end users (face to face, phone, email)
Ability to effectively work in a team environment and under general supervision
Standard Applications: Experience with Word; working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat
Experience with Outlook; Calendar; Tasks
Word – track changes and version control
SharePoint – export and views
Excel – simple formulas
